Construction Engineering
This service includes planning and management of a project from start to finish. We engage in quality assurance
and quality control, building and site layout surveys, onsite material testing, cost estimating, planning and
scheduling, safety engineering, materials procurement, and cost engineering and budgeting.
Construction Management
NDD provides planning, coordination, and control of a project from concept to completion. NDD aims to exceed
our client's requirements in order to produce a functionally and financially viable project that will be completed
on time, within authorized cost, and to the highest of quality standards.
Project Management
NDD oversees the planning and organization of a project as well as the securing and managing of resources to
bring about the successful completion of specific project goals and objectives.
Cost Estimating
NDD provides full pre-construction services, which include cost estimating projects from concept to construction
document phases. As designers and builders, NDD has the ability to ensure accurate and viable cost models for
our clients to minimize change orders. Whether negotiated or bid, NDD fosters the best sub-contractor relationships to guarantee the most competitive prices combined with quality craftsmanship.
Value Engineering (VE)
Value Engineering is the systematic analysis and exploration of alternative options to stay on budget and save on
building costs. Thus, the ultimate objective of VE is to preserve the look and function of the project, while finding
alternatives to lower the overall cost. Value Engineering also aims to increase the functional life of a project by
evaluating initial costs, life-cycle costs, financing costs, maintenance costs, and ownership costs.
Constructability Review
In order to optimize field administration and minimize change orders, NDD will continually provide
constructability reviews on our designs. We strive for completeness, accuracy, and system compatibility. These
reviews result in shorter schedules, more precise cost forecasts, and client satisfaction.
